Common Questions
Q: What is my Vault password?
A: In the old Password Manager, Your Vault Password is the main password you needed to unlock your vault and access stored login credentials and secure notes. Forgotten Vault Passwords could not be recovered — resetting your Vault Password would delete all your stored Password Manager data permanently.
Q: What happens to my paid time?
A: Any unused time on an active subscription will be honored. You will be upgraded to ID Protection for the time remaining.
Q: I have receipts but I’m being asked to renew — why?
A: This may mean your subscription type changed. 💬 Contact Trend Micro Support so we can check your account.
Q: I can’t get Password Manager to open before migration deadline — what now?
A: You can still export your passwords through the ID Protection app or web portal. For details, please see: How to Move Passwords from Password Manager to ID Protection
